Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a professional Area Support Officer to provide flexible security cover across multiple client locations around Leicester and the Midlands. You will monitor site activity, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate logs while upholding high standards of service.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, Right to Work in the UK, a driving licence, and the ability to work across varying shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• UK Driving licence and use of own vehicle (if required).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional security cover across multiple client sites, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Conduct regular site patrols and inspections per assignment instructions and site procedures.
• Monitor premises visually and via CCTV, responding to alarms and incidents.
• Maintain logs including vehicle movements, visitor access, and contractor attendance.
• Record and report suspicious behaviour or security breaches promptly.
• Ensure compliance with access control procedures and security protocols.
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reports.
