Job summary

GRS Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead site operations across multiple locations, ensuring safety, efficiency and high performance. You will manage production, transport and budget delivery, while developing staff and driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with transport, sales and finance teams, prepare board reports, and play a pivotal role in cost control and strategic planning to support sustainable growth in the construction materials

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and drive for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Recognised operational Health, Safety & Environmental qualifications e.g. NEBOSH.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Operational management experience.
• Financial budget management experience.
• Computer literate.
• Multi site management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational team to ensure safety, service and performance targets across sites.
• Deliver production, transport and operational requirements within budget.
• Develop staff competency and training plans.
• Prepare reports for the GRSBP Board.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment and performance management.
• Identify improvements and manage cost control and capital spend.
• Collaborate with Transport, Sales and Finance teams.
• Support cross-site and functional collaboration to drive best practice.
