Job summary

GRS is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable individual to lead site operations in Langley. The role focuses on maintaining safe working conditions, coordinating production and transport, and supporting a fast-paced team with opportunities for growth.

You will induct visitors, manage staff, control costs, and share best practices across sites. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisation skills (Essential)
• Key to this role is an ability to understand and deliver excellent level of service to our customers.
• Training will be given but experience in the above areas will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site health and safety, induct visitors and contractors.
• Coordinate and supervise stock transfers and loads.
• Manage transport operations and vehicle checks.
• Control costs and review financial statements with Area Operations Manager.
• Share best practices across sites.
• Provide staffing and training to ensure adequate cover.
• Oversee production quality and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain stock levels and communicate with production manager.
