Job summary

GRS is seeking a self-motivated, driven site operations supervisor for Tilbury to ensure a safe working environment and manage production, transport and operational requirements to meet the budgeted site P&L. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to learn from challenges while delivering results.

You will develop site staff, coordinate with other sites to optimise loads and resources, manage drivers and vehicles, and implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in site operations or production management preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Induct visitors and contractors and enforce HSSEQ rules.
• Coordinate and supervise stock transfers and loads.
• Manage drivers, timekeeping, holidays and H&S on site.
• Review financials with Area Operations Manager to control costs.
• Share best practices across sites.
