Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to oversee operations across sites in Southampton, the Isle of Wight and Bournemouth. The role is full-time with a salary from £32,000 per annum and places you at the heart of multi-site property maintenance.

You will lead a small team, manage repairs and refurbishments, handle complex plumbing tasks, and drive health and safety compliance while coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in property maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on plumbing skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience managing a multi-site maintenance team.
• UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site maintenance team across several sites.
• Carry out hands-on property maintenance and refurbishments.
• Oversee repairs, inspections, and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and cost control for maintenance work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors (electricians, plumbers) and obtain quotes.
• Ensure health and safety standards and certifications are up to date.
• Organise out-of-hours cover and on-call rota.
• Support training and development of team members.
