Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Plumber to join our Estates team. The role covers maintenance, repair and installation of complex mechanical plant across Trust properties in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Working within a multi-skilled team, you will perform core plumbing duties, support estates maintenance activities and, where appropriate, act as an Authorised Person in specialist areas such as Water, Medical Gases or HVAC, while

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber or mechanical engineer in estates maintenance.
• Competence in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Ability to issue permits to work and coordinate system shutdowns.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and safe patient environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) efficiently.
• Carry out servicing of plumbing and mechanical plant per schedule issued by Estates Officer.
• Carry out reactive repairs to plumbing, heating and ventilation systems.
• Assist with maintenance programmes and major capital projects as required.
• Work within Trust guidelines and CARE values to ensure safe, reliable environments.
