Job summary

BVC Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance across its venues, ensuring safety, reliability, and high standards of operation. The role involves hands-on repairs, supervising contractors, and supporting preventive maintenance in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, liaise with venue teams, and ensure documentation and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance, engineering, or facilities role.
• Practical knowledge of general building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Good understanding of safe working practices and UK health and safety requirements.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance across BVC Hospitality venues.
• Act as a point of contact for maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Carry out general repairs and minor maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating).
• Monitor maintenance reporting systems and close requests within timescales.
• Conduct site inspections to identify issues and ensure safety and operation.
• Support Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and verify work.
• Maintain accurate asset, maintenance, and compliance records.
• Assist with fire safety, gas, electrical, water hygiene inspections and compliance.
