Job summary

The Bukola Group is partnering with a leading business services organisation to recruit an HR Advisor on a permanent basis. You will support managers across multiple locations on employee relations and people initiatives within a fast-paced, unionised environment.

Joining an established HR team, you’ll manage a varied ER caseload, coach managers, and drive practical HR solutions, ensuring consistent, fair people practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or Employee Relations professional.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling complex ER casework from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume, varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, flexible working requests, redundancies and dispute resolution.
• Provide prompt and professional HR advice to managers on employee relations matters and employment legislation.
• Coach and support managers in handling people issues confidently and effectively.
• Review case documentation, evidence and correspondence to ensure procedural compliance and minimise risk.
• Draft HR correspondence and support managers through formal meetings and hearings where required.
• Analyse people data, monitor trends and provide recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Assist with organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and TUPE activity.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Support wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
