Job summary

Lighthouse Hotel Management is seeking a Cluster Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across its Northern Cluster (Manchester and Liverpool). You will manage month-end processes, balance sheets, and internal controls, while developing efficiencies with hotel teams.

The role emphasizes planning, forecasting and strong Excel capabilities, with travel to properties and a hybrid work model supporting flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experienced multi-site FC or single-site FC in a large hotel, with ability to multitask and manage a team.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to train and manage on-site teams.
• Maintain accurate records and drive improvements to efficiencies.
• Planning and forecasting experience is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Aptitude for learning new systems and travelling to properties regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end processes for each hotel and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and on-site finance assistants.
• Maintain balance sheets and reconciliations; ensure internal controls and procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with General Managers and hotel teams to improve financial performance.
