Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking a Financial Controller for a hybrid role in Cheltenham, servicing a multi-site hospitality brand. You will lead monthly management accounts, statutory reporting, and the audit process while strengthening controls.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, UK GAAP knowledge, and experience with NetSuite. You will partner with the wider business on budgeting, forecasting and governance to drive growth.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, tax and compliance.
• Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite desirable).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading the production of accurate monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.
• Managing the annual audit process and acting as the key point of contact for auditors.
• Overseeing VAT compliance and financial controls.
• Developing and embedding robust accounting processes and governance frameworks.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
• Driving improvements across finance operations and reporting.
