Job summary

Medivet is seeking an Operations Support Manager to oversee day-to-day activity across five clinics in Central Lancashire & Greater Manchester. This field-based role involves working with Partners, Lead Vets and the Network team to ensure clinics run smoothly and consistently.

With 3+ years in operations or multi-site management, you’ll coordinate recruitment and onboarding, manage rotas and locum needs, and support facilities, payroll and compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and locations.
• Good attention to detail, particularly around rotas, payroll and compliance.
• Experience with Workday, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations across 5 clinics, visiting each site regularly.
• Work with Partners and Lead Vets to resolve operational challenges.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews and onboarding of new team members.
• Manage rotas, resource planning, leave and locum requirements.
• Support payroll, finance, stock and invoice processes.
• Coordinate maintenance, facilities and accommodation requirements.
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance requirements are completed.
• Support clinics with incidents, complaints and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with the Network team to drive consistency across practices.
