Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Service Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a customer’s property portfolio, including budgeting, maintenance, security, and front-of-house services. You will coordinate across sites (Hampshire, Surrey, Bedfordshire and Sussex) and lead health and safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with policies.

Role requires strong stakeholder engagement, budget management, and staff supervision of facilities personnel such as security, reception, and admin

Qualifications

• A Level or equivalent required.
• Facilities Management qualification (BIFM/CMI) preferred.
• IOSH Health & Safety qualification preferred.
• SIA license for non-frontline roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with site coordinators across multiple sites and attend OCS FM Eastleigh office three days a week.
• Ensure staffing for business hours and support out-of-hours requests as needed.
• Ensure facilities services comply with regulations and customer policies.
• Manage office moves and departmental restructures across the portfolio.
• Coordinate facilities suppliers and oversee procurement policies.
• Delegate tasks for maintenance to contractors and staff.
• Build relationships with site teams and neighbours for smooth operations.
• Oversee supplier engagement in line with policies.
• Manage day-to-day facilities budget and billing.
• Provide monthly management information and quarterly reviews.
