Job summary

Audley Villages is seeking a Cluster Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of two retirement village sites, ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional facilities for owners and their families.

You will lead a grounds and maintenance team, coordinate with operations, leisure, housekeeping, and reception, and implement maintenance programs across buildings, grounds, and equipment. A strong focus on regulatory compliance and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or hospitality environment.
• Multi-site (two locations) experience preferred.
• Qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Qualification within health and safety working practices - IOSH Managing Safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and grounds team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational goals.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to prolong asset life and minimize disruptions for owners.
• Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising safety and quality.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain quotes and oversee on-site work.
• Visit locations regularly to ensure facilities meet owners' standards and business needs.
