Job summary

Audley Villages in Cobham is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform general and ground maintenance to a high standard and support the Facilities Manager with daily upkeep across our village facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a current driving licence and has experience with pool plant operations, plus a background in basic electrical, joinery or plumbing work. A strong team spirit and problem-solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid driving licence.
• Experience in pool plant operations.
• Experience in electrics, joinery or plumbing would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and regulations (COSHH, RIDDOR).
• Multi-trader is desirable.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

As our Maintenance Operative you will perform a range of general and ground maintenance duties to a consistently high level and assist the Facilities Manager with daily maintenance, meeting the standards required by our owners and the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Must hold a current, valid driving licence (Essential)
• Experience in pool plant operations.
• Experience in electrics, joinery, plumbing would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices and regulations, COSHH, RIDDOR, etc.
• Multi-trader (desirable).
• Problem solving skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Warm, professional and empathetic.
