Job summary

Extend Learning Academies Network is seeking a Site Maintenance Officer to join the Central Estates Team in Weston-Super-Mare. The role involves maintaining safe, secure and inspiring learning environments across multiple sites, with a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety duties, and small improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have caretaking or facilities experience, practical building skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, property maintenance, facilities management or similar environment.
• Practical skills in building repairs, maintenance and general DIY activities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Good understanding of health and safety and maintaining compliant premises.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across school sites.
• Support health and safety and compliance requirements.
• Assist with small improvement projects and site presentation.
• Travel between Trust schools within North Somerset with mileage reimbursed.
