Job summary

Uniform Education in West London is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to oversee the maintenance, development and day-to-day operation of its school sites, ensuring safe and well‑managed learning environments. You will lead site, facilities and caretaking teams, manage external contractors (cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance and health and safety services), and project‑manage premises works.

Regular site visits, budget oversight, and collaboration with senior leaders will be essential,

Qualifications

Experience in estates, facilities, or premises management within an educational setting is essential.
Proven ability to lead site teams and manage contractors.
Strong knowledge of health and safety and premises compliance.
Experience managing budgets and coordinating multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the school estates across sites.
Lead site, facilities, and caretaking teams and manage external contractors.
Oversee maintenance, development, and compliance of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
Project-manage premises-related works and coordinate with senior leadership on priorities.
Ensure robust health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures are in place and tested.
Visit sites regularly to monitor standards and support operational needs.
