Job summary

Atlas FM is seeking an Area Manager to lead and manage cleaning operations across multiple client sites in the UK, delivering consistently high standards of service, operational performance, and client satisfaction. You will own day-to-day operations, engage with clients, perform site visits, and conduct performance reviews to ensure expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong customer service and client relationship skills.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Health and safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
• IT literacy and ability to use reporting/workforce management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
• Note: a driving licence check may be required before deployment.
• Enhanced DBS check processes may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning operations across multiple client sites.
• Ensure service delivery meets contractual expectations and budgets.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders; conduct site visits and performance reviews.
• Recruit, induct, train and manage teams; drive retention and performance.
• Monitor time/attendance, budgets, and cost control; uphold safety and security.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure information security and compliance.
