Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee cleaning operations across a prestigious site in City of London. The role covers general housekeeping and Core Cleaning services, with a 15:00–00:00 shift pattern and a salary of £53,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operations management role within cleaning or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of workflow optimisation methodologies for process efficiency.
• Experience implementing and managing cleaning technologies, such as robotic scrubber dryers.
• Excellent team leadership and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving performance.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a cleaning or facilities management environment.
• Flexibility to work a range of days / hours when required for operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all cleaning operations during the 15:00 – 00:00, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor and optimise cleaning workflows using structured methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement and manage advanced cleaning technologies, including robotic scrubber dryers.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections, addressing service improvements proactively.
• Maintain strong client relationships, responding to requests and feedback efficiently.
• Lead, train, and develop the night cleaning team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Manage the Core Cleaning team, ensuring service consistency across shifts.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training, ensuring adherence to operational best practices.
• Conduct performance assessments, providing feedback and improvement plans where needed.
