Job summary

TMS Cleaning, part of TMS FM Group, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of cleaning operations across multiple sites in Maidstone and the surrounding area. You will be visible on-site, support and challenge your teams, and ensure the service promised is delivered to a high standard.

You will lead supervisors and cleaning teams, maintain client relationships, perform quality inspections, manage staffing, coordinate with HR for recruitment and training, and drive

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial cleaning operations across multiple sites.
• Ability to lead teams, set expectations and drive service quality.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience working with HR for recruitment and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and hold supervisors and cleaning teams accountable.
• Maintain client relationships via regular communication and site visits.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure corrective actions.
• Manage staffing, rotas, absence and holiday cover.
• Work with HR to recruit, onboard and train staff.
• Ensure teams have equipment, materials and clear instructions.
• Manage labour and material costs against budgets.
• Improve operational processes and report on quality and contract performance.
• Support mobilisation of new contracts.
