Rewind Radio Ltd. is seeking an organised Assistant Cleaning Manager to support daily cleaning operations across multiple sites in the UK. You will partner with the Contract Manager and operations team to supervise staff, conduct audits and maintain high service standards.

The role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication and a proactive approach to staffing, training, health and safety, and service delivery. Flexibility to travel between sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and supervising cleaning teams across multiple sites.
• Carrying out regular site visits, quality checks and cleaning audits.
• Monitoring cleaning standards and following up on any areas requiring improvement.
• Supporting the recruitment, induction and onboarding of new employees.
• Identifying training and development needs and supporting staff with appropriate training.
• Completing employee meetings, including return-to-work discussions and regular one-to-ones.
• Supporting absence management and helping arrange operational cover for sickness and annual leave.
• Working with the scheduling team to maintain effective rotas and appropriate staffing levels.
• Reviewing annual leave requests while considering operational requirements and service coverage.
• Monitoring cleaning equipment, machinery, materials and stock requirements.
• Ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures and documentation are maintained.
• Reporting incidents, hazards and other health and safety concerns promptly.
• Supporting the mobilisation and introduction of new cleaning sites and services.
• Responding to customer queries and complaints and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are completed.
• Monitoring rectification works and following up to ensure required standards are achieved.
• Holding regular meetings with cleaning teams to provide updates, operational information and support.
• Maintaining accurate operational and employee records using company systems.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across operations, scheduling, HR and facilities management.
• Escalating significant staffing, performance, health and safety, customer or operational concerns to the appropriate manager.
