Job summary

LionHires Recruitment is seeking a Casino Compliance Manager to lead a six-person team across iGaming compliance, QA, and commercial interfaces. You will drive governance across multiple markets, certify games, scope new markets, and own the internal Compliance Portal.

You will implement robust safeguards against GSP failures, investigate incidents, and report to senior leadership while aligning regulatory obligations with commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in iGaming/online casino compliance, technical compliance, or QA.
• Deep understanding of global iGaming technical standards, game certification processes (e.g., GLI standards), and multi-market licensing requirements.
• Ability to balance strict regulatory requirements with commercial business objectives, particularly during new market scoping and launch phases.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience investigating technical breaches, managing GSP outages, and handling regulatory mitigation or player compensation processes.
• Demonstrated success in mapping, analysing, and improving operational or QA workflows.
• Experience overseeing or contributing to the development of internal tools, databases, or portals.
• Strong organisational skills to govern multiple market rollouts and game releases.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable operational steps for QA, Commercial, and Casino Ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team consisting of one Team Lead and five compliance/QA specialists.
• Lead the compliance scoping for new market entries and support the Commercial team to align with regulatory constraints.
• Act as the primary liaison between Casino Operations and QA to guarantee seamless communication and workflow.
• Oversee end-to-end go-live for casino games, ensuring full certification and license compliance.
• Develop and maintain safeguards to protect the business against GSP failures, downtime, or regulatory issues.
• Lead deep-dive investigations into compliance breaches and manage regulator communications and mitigation.
• Continuously evaluate and optimise QA workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in game testing.
• Establish robust governance across markets to ensure agile, compliant operations.
• Own the internal Compliance Portal for certifications, market rules, and QA tracking.
• Provide regular risk assessments and compliance health checks to senior leadership.
• Regularly review compliance software and systems to stay current with industry standards.
• Identify and automate repetitive compliance tasks to reduce errors and boost productivity.
• Conduct gap analyses to bake compliance into new digital products and workflows.
• Leverage data analytics and AI to monitor anomalies and maintain continuous compliance.
