Job summary

Autotech-Recruit-Limited is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician for a flagship dealership in Stockport. The role offers a £31,500 base salary with realistic OTE up to £46,000 and a 40-hour week in a dynamic, premium-brand environment.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles, maintain paperwork and deliver high levels of customer service while advancing your skills, including EV technology training, within a supportive development programme.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years' automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake EV training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Replace parts, oils and fluids.
• Maintain workshop records and documentation.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Complete repairs in line with manufacturer requirements
• Replace parts, oils, and fluids as required
• Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Deliver excellent levels of customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 2 years' automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A full UK driving licence
• A willingness to undertake further training and development, including EV technologies
