Job summary

Solvit Recruitment is seeking experienced Multi Drop Van Drivers for a route-based role out of Lutterworth. The job involves following a fixed route with up to 40 deliveries to business users, using a PDA to confirm each delivery and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Prospective drivers should have a UK driving licence with minimal points, strong customer service skills, and the ability to load and secure goods each morning.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with over 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Proven multi-drop van driving experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no bans in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to business users, up to 40 stops per route.

Job description

Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Drivers.

Working out of Lutterworth.

We are looking for an experienced Multi Drop Van drivers with good knowledge of the Midlands area.

Start times from 06:00 - 07:00

You will have an induction and Training.

You will have your own set route of deliveries up to 40, delivering to business users; this can be industrial estates and city centres and you will have excellent communication skills oral and written and have pride in your work.

You will load your van in the morning ready for deliveries; all deliveries will be numbered for you.

You will have experience-using PDA to confirm deliveries.

You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver delivering to businesses and you will have no more than 6 points on your licence and not served a ban in the last 5

years, as you will be dealing with customers we are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills.

Rate of Pay.

Monday to Friday first 8 hours £12.71 per hour, after 8 hours £16.90.

Excluding holiday pay.

Requirements

• UK Driving Licence with over 1 years commercial driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Previous multi-driving experience.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication oral and written.
• Excellent customer service essential.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• 1 years Commercial Van Driving experience.
• No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
