Job summary

Solvit Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver for routes in Leicestershire. You will handle delivering up to 80 parcels and making collections from business users to households, with a focus on excellent customer service and accurate record-keeping.

The role starts as a short-term 4 weeks transitioning to a full-time position, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend options when full-time. A clean UK licence and prior multi-drop experience are required.

Job description

Solvit Recruitment are looking for Multi Drop Van Drivers.

Immediate Start for the right candidate.

Payee only.

We are looking for an experienced business Multi Drop Van driver with good

Knowledge of the Leicestershire areas.

This is a short temp 2 perm 4 weeks, followed by a full time job, paid weekly.

You will have your own set route of deliveries up to 80 and collections (Parcels) from business users to general household in the Leicestershire area, you will have excellent communication skills oral and written and have pride in your work.

Your first week you will be teamed up with another driver learning the route and the processes.

You will have experience as a multi-drop van driver, and you will have a clean licence and not served a ban in the last 5 years.

As you will be dealing with customers, we are looking for a driver that will have excellent customer skills.

This will be Monday to Friday with a 07:30 - 17:00

When full time you will have 1-4 Saturdays, which will be 07:00 - 12:00.

Bonus available when full time.

45 Hours per week.

Rate of Pay.

Monday to Friday £13.31 per hour.

Weekly £598.95

Yearly from £31.145.

Requirements

• UK Driving Licence with over 1 years commercial driving.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Previous multi-driving experience.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication oral and written.
• Excellent customer service essential.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• 1 years Commercial Van Driving experience.
• No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
• Right to Work in the UK.
