Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group in Watford is seeking an experienced Multidrop Van Driver to join our well-established client. You will operate 3.5-tonne vans on a Monday-to-Friday schedule, starting at 06:00, with guaranteed 8 hours per day and weekly pay.

This role requires a valid UK Category B licence, up to six points, and solid knowledge of the UK road network. You will perform vehicle checks, load and secure cargo, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Category B driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only).
• Good level of English in speaking and reading.
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
• Effective communication with dispatch teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all cargo is correctly loaded and secured.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
