Job summary

Epsom and St Helier Hospitals is recruiting a Bank Band 3 Rehab Assistant for the SDH&C MSK service at Banstead Clinic. The role is part time (11 hours per week) with bank rates (£16.41–£27.73 per hour), and involves leading MSK rehabilitation under the physiotherapy team and managing a caseload.

Applicants should have MSK rehab experience, strong communication skills, and GCSEs including English and Maths. EMIS documentation and MDT collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent including English language and Maths

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 rehabilitation sessions and classes in an MSK setting under supervision of the physiotherapy team
• Manage own patient caseload and work closely with the team
• Document sessions on the EMIS electronic patient record system
• Communicate professionally with local and wider MDT; progress and regress exercise programmes accordingly
