Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant with MSK Physiotherapy exposure. You will lead 1:1 rehabilitation sessions and small group classes, applying exercise prescription knowledge under supervision of the physiotherapy team.

You will progress and regress exercise programmes, document sessions in EMIS, manage own patient caseload, and communicate professionally with the MDT to support outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• MSK physiotherapy experience preferred.

Job description

Experience as Rehabilitation Assistant preferred, particularly within an MSK Physiotherapy environment. Candidates would be expected to lead 1:1 rehabilitation sessions and classes in an MSK setting, using their knowledge of exercise prescription, whilst under supervision of the physiotherapy team. They should be confident to progress and regress exercise programmes for patients accordingly and seek support from the physiotherapy team. Candidates should be able to communicate professionally and competently (verbally and written) with their local and wider MDT. They must be competent with documenting their sessions on our electronic patient record system (EMIS). Manage own patient caseload and work closely with the team
