Circle Health Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant for a 6-month fixed term contract in Birmingham. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary up to £25,044.85 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will work closely with nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams to deliver tailored rehabilitation plans. The ideal candidate will hold a sport-related degree and MSK rehab experience, with Level 2/3 gym instructor or Level 3 exercise referral

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in a Sport Related subject and relevant experience working in a MSK Rehabilitation setting.
• Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or level 3 exercise referral/level 4 qualification/equivalent with experience delivering groups sessions.
• Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team or within the fitness industry.
• At least 150 hours previous experience of working with specialist populations, for example exercise referral, cardiac, back care, falls etc.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsabilités

• Work collaboratively with nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Assist with mobility and positioning, including the safe use of hoists and mobility aids.
• Help patients engage in purposeful activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional recovery.
• Act as a key worker for assigned patients, advocating for their needs and ensuring consistent delivery of care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-prepared therapeutic environment by contributing to housekeeping and equipment checks.
• Take responsibility for your own learning through active participation in supervision, training, and appraisal processes.
