Job summary

Safran Seats in Newport, Wales, seeks a proactive MRO Supplier Coordinator to manage end-to-end outsourced repair activities across our approved MRO base. You will place, monitor and deliver repair orders in line with customer commitments, quality standards and performance targets.

In this role you will act as the primary interface with external repair suppliers, drive performance, coordinate logistics and support continuous improvement to ensure on-time delivery and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier management, customer service, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of supplier performance management and KPI monitoring.
• Understanding of repair order processes and supply chain coordination.
• Experience using ERP systems (M3 preferred).
• Strong Excel and Teams skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage repair orders with approved external MRO suppliers.
• Coordinate shipment and return of components for external repair.
• Monitor supplier commitments and delivery schedules.
• Identify potential supply chain constraints and implement corrective actions.
• Review supplier quotations for accuracy and contractual compliance.
