Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking an MRICS Quantity Surveyor to join its cost management team.

You will manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility through final account, prepare cost plans, tender documents and procurement advice, and lead day-to-day cost management with JCT/NEC.

This hybrid role offers exposure to diverse design-led projects, close collaboration with directors, progression opportunities, a competitive salary (£55k-£75k) plus benefits and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Chartered MRICS Quantity Surveyor or close to qualification.
• Solid PQS/consultancy experience, ideally in the London market.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from feasibility to final account.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documents, and procurement advice.
• Lead day-to-day cost management and contract administration (JCT/NEC).
• Act as main contact for clients and project teams.
• Provide input into BD and mentor junior surveyors.

I'm working with a well-established London construction consultancy that's looking to strengthen its cost management team with an MRICS Quantity Surveyor.

This practice has built its reputation on delivering intelligently managed, design-led projects across London - spanning commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. They operate with a strong sense of professionalism and pride in their work, balancing technical precision with a genuinely collaborative culture.

This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced directors, take real ownership of your projects, and progress quickly within a structured but flexible environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the full project lifecycle from early-stage feasibility through to final account.
• Preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documents, and procurement advice.
• Leading day-to-day cost management and contract administration (JCT / NEC).
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients and project teams.
• Providing input into business development and mentoring junior surveyors.

What You'll Bring
