Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic construction consultancy. You will work across a diverse portfolio, from cost advice through to delivery, taking ownership of projects within a supportive team that encourages progression.

The ideal candidate has consultancy/PQS experience across sectors and a proactive approach to client relationships, with MRICS or APC progression encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultancy/PQS environment.

• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
• MRICS or working towards chartership is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide cost planning and estimation across varied projects.
• Manage procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Deliver pre- and post-contract QS services and financial reporting.
• Conduct valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with consultants/contractors.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where no two projects feel quite the same?

I'm working with a well-established construction consultancy in London looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has built up experience across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and hospitality, and wants to continue broadening their project exposure. The role offers plenty of variety, direct client interaction and the chance to take real ownership of your projects, while being part of a supportive team where career progression is encouraged.

The role

You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, getting involved from early cost advice through to delivery and completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cost planning and estimating
• Procurement and tendering
• Pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying
• Cost reporting and commercial management
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors
• Managing projects and developing strong client relationships

What I'm looking for

You'll ideally have:

• Previous consultancy / PQS experience
• Experience across a mix of sectors such as commercial, residential, education and hospitality
• Good pre- and post-contract experience
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• A relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related degree
• MRICS, working towards chartership or an ambition to progress through your APC
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work
