MRICS Building Surveyor – London / South East London – basic between £75,000 - £85,000 plus bonus

Latymer Search is exclusively recruiting on behalf of an established reputable independent Chartered Surveying practice who offers a mutli-disciplinary service to it's customers, including valuation and advisory, and Building Surveying services.

They are unique in that they offer truly attractive remuneration packages, above average to the rest of the market, offer fully remote / hybrid working ongoing support and a flexible non micro managing company.

Key points (please read)
  • AD or Directorlevel appointment (for all Surveyor joiners).
  • Dynamic team with a good sociable and client facing environment.
  • Mix of work to suit but will include building surveys, expert witness, dilapidations and defect reports (depending on experience / preferences they can tailor to suit)
  • They undertakework for the likesof Wetherspoons, Mandarin Oriental, Galliard, a number of large housing associations. So, a mix of portfolioand individualinstructions.
  • High fee basis, their averagefee for a building survey in London is £1,200+VAT.
  • One building surveya day only.
  • High fees and low-cost overheadsallow us to pay more back to surveyors.
  • Can be home of office based or hybrid to suit.
  • Team of 17 people and will join 5 existing surveyorson the buildingsurvey side.
  • Very low staff turnover due to what they see as a strong, collegiateand autonomous working environment well supportedwith administration and IT systems and ultimately strong earnings potential which is consistentlydelivered.
  • At the time of writing, they quote around 20 buildingsurveysa day and workflow is constant so very safe in terms of earning potential and jobsecurity.
  • They are looking for motivated and overall diligence surveyors who prioritizereporting standards, detail and knowledgeover volume.
