University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) is seeking an Imaging Department Assistant to cover maternity leave across UHNM MRI sites including Royal Stoke, County Hospital and the Community Diagnostic Centre.

You will have health-care or public-facing experience, strong admin skills, and a flexible approach to long days and weekend work. Training and support will be provided to ensure safe MRI practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent, English at Grade C or above.
• Patient-focused skills with good communication and listening.
• Current BLS certificate and venepuncture/cannulation training.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with radiographers, ward staff, porters and patients to keep examinations on time.
• Carry out general patient care, safety screening and cannulation as required.
• Maintain department cleanliness and accurate data entry and clerical duties.
• Provide a calm, friendly telephone manner and effective communication.
