Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking Field Service Engineers to service MR modality equipment across the South UK region, ideally covering Oxford, Berkshire or Surrey and nearby counties. The role focuses on repair, maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction with equipment functionality.

Training is provided to support ongoing growth in the territory. Candidates should be qualified technicians or engineers with medical device experience, strong English communication, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Qualified Technician/ Engineer or equivalent professional experience in medical devices.
• Technical analytical skills; planning and organizing work effectively.
• Ability to work independently with high standards and initiative.
• Customer-oriented attitude; excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driving license, active driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all models specific to a modality in the assigned area.
• Training is provided.
• Perform total system-level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate clearly with customers and department managers on equipment status.
• Assist in Account Sales visits and identify opportunities; train others where necessary.
• Contribute to growth and direction of business in the geographic area.
• Control Warranty and PMS contract costs.
• Complete FMI and PMS documentation on time for assigned accounts.
• Lead in complex multifunctional rooms and share best practices.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality programs in line with GE Service Quality Policy.
