Safran Nacelles in Burnley is recruiting an MPS Planner to convert production plans into daily, weekly and monthly schedules, aligned with capacity and business goals.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, you will develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), analyse capacity requirements, identify risks, and provide planning scenarios that support effective decision-making.
As the MPS Planner, you will be responsible for converting the production plan into detailed daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, ensuring alignment with manufacturing capacity and business objectives.
You will lead planning activities, maintain ERP planning parameters, conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), and drive data accuracy to support efficient production and delivery performance.
Perform RCCP analysis to ensure production plans are achievable.
Identify capacity constraints and develop planning scenarios to mitigate risks.
Maintain ERP planning parameters and data accuracy.
Validate MRP outputs and ensure planning data integrity.
Monitor production performance and provide weekly/monthly reporting.
Prepare Monthly Supply Point Reviews including capacity analysis and planning recommendations.
Build and maintain VEX forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities, and forecast variances.
Work closely with Manufacturing teams to validate production plans and resolve scheduling issues.
