Job summary

UK Power Networks is hiring a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join the MPAN Management Team in Crawley. You will support customers and electricity suppliers with MPAN requests and guide them through processes in a regulated environment.

After probation, blended working is available (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) with a salary of £30,816 plus a 7.5% bonus and 25 days leave, pension, and other schemes. You will build relationships, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate MPANs and data.

Qualifications

• GCSE pass in English and a numerate subject such as mathematics or engineering
• Experience in a customer service, engineering or similar environment
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
• A proven commitment to high-quality customer service
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, find resolutions and support continuous improvement
• Awareness of confidentiality and GDPR

Responsibilities

• Support customers and electricity suppliers with MPAN requests
• Assess Import and Export MPAN requests and liaise with customers and suppliers
• Create and issue MPANs where appropriate
• Identify unsafe, dangerous or illegal connections and coordinate with internal teams
• Ensure MPANs are correctly addressed and recorded as unique identifiers for metering points
