Job summary

Great Places Housing Group in Wolverhampton is seeking a Housing and Wellbeing Officer (Resettlement) to help customers gain independence and move on to greater self-reliance. The role focuses on resettlement and building strong partnerships with landlords to prevent homelessness.

You will support customers to identify strengths, address risks, and access wider services, while ensuring safeguarding and tenancy responsibilities are understood.

Qualifications

• Qualifications or membership in customer service, or willingness to study towards.
• Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
• Good IT and keyboard skills are essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify strengths, development needs and risks to jointly develop move-on plans.
• Encourage community cohesion and opportunities for individuals to engage with others.
• Help customers access other agencies and services in the wider community.
• Coach customers to understand tenancy responsibilities and safeguarding procedures.
• Develop relationships with peers and agencies to support customers’ plans.
• Create partnerships with social/private landlords to enable move-on and prevent homelessness.
