Job summary

YMCA East Surrey in Redhill, Surrey, UK, is recruiting a Housing Support Officer (move-on) to provide high‑quality housing support to young people and residents, helping them move towards independent living while promoting independence and safeguarding.

The role is 35 hours per week, typically 9:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, on-site with some flexibility. Salary £30,940 per annum. Experience with vulnerable groups, strong record‑keeping, and a full driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 standard qualification or equivalent in housing, social work or youth work.
• Full driving licence with valid business use insurance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Induct residents into their accommodation and explain license terms.
• Provide 1-2-1 and group support to residents and assist with appointments and meetings.
• Update supporting documents and maintain required records within deadlines.
• Document records on Pyramid/Outcome Star/Log it systems and provide reports.
