Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Trainer to join the Crewe Campus. You will move from the workshop to shaping tomorrow's technicians, using industry knowledge to deliver practical and theory-based training.

The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, and a salary between £28,997 and £43,748 per year, with excellent benefits and development opportunities within a supportive college environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience.
• Up-to-date industry experience.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and train on a range of Motor Vehicle Service, (PHEV, Electrical Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning - Desirable) and Repair courses.
• Contribute to aspirational training, learning and assessment.
• Keep accurate records for learners' progress in College.
