Job summary

Boston Rose Limited in Manchester is seeking two Motor Vehicle Maintenance Trainers; one for Light Vehicle and one for Heavy Vehicle.

You will train apprentices at the provider's main training centre, with maximum class size of 12, and one day per week from home for preparation and marking.

Starting salary is circa £38,000 per annum, with a 6% pension contribution, optional private health care and 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.

• Must hold a Motor Vehicle qualification.
• Experience in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance.

We are working with an education provider in the Manchester area who are looking for two Motor Vehicle Maintenance Trainers; one for Light Vehicle, and the other for Heavy Vehicle.

The role would involve you delivering training to apprentices working towards the Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle standards (depending on the role) at the education provider's main training centre in Manchester.

Maximum class size is 12 people, and you would also get 1 day per week working from home for lesson preparation/marking.

The starting salary for this position is circa 38,000 p/a, which would also include a 6% pension contribution, optional private health care, and 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

Please note that the education provider would be able to put you through a teaching qualification and assessor award on the job if you do not already have these.

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:

• An Motor Vehicle qualification
• Experience of EITHER Heavy Vehicle OR Light Vehicle Maintenance
