Job summary

TR2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Tutor for a full-time, permanent role in Trafford, Greater Manchester. The position focuses on delivering Level 3 training, with both practical and theory sessions, and supporting learners through assessments.

The role involves marking, lesson preparation, and delivering four teaching days per week. After probation, one day per week may be worked from home, with a starting salary of around £35,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on vehicle maintenance experience.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Excellent communication and learner engagement skills.

A leading training provider is looking for an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Tutor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis in Trafford.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle professional with a passion for developing the next generation of technicians.

The Role

• Deliver Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance training
• Teach both practical and theory-based sessions
• Support learners with their development and assessments
• Mark work and prepare lessons
• Deliver 4 days of teaching, with 1 day dedicated to marking and lesson preparation
• Following successful completion of probation, the marking/planning day can be worked from home

We’re Looking For

• Relevant Motor Vehicle trade qualifications
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Strong practical experience within Vehicle Maintenance
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
• A genuine passion for supporting learners into successful careers

Salary & Benefits

• Circa £35,000 per annum
• 7:30am – 3:00pm
• 25 days' annual leave + 8 bank holidays
• Full-time, permanent position
• 1 day per week working from home after successful completion of probation
