Job summary

Boston Rose Limited in Manchester is seeking two Motor Vehicle Maintenance Trainers to cover Light and Heavy Vehicle standards at a main training centre. You will deliver training to apprentices and manage classes up to 12, with one day per week to work from home for lesson preparation and marking.

The role carries a salary circa £38,000 per annum, with options including a 6% pension contribution, optional private health care, and 25 days' holiday plus statutory holidays.

Qualifications

• Motor Vehicle qualification required.
• Experience of either Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Teaching qualification and assessor award can be pursued on the job if not held.

Motor Vehicle Maintenance Trainer (x2)

We are working with an education provider in the Manchester area who are looking for two Motor Vehicle Maintenance Trainers; one for Light Vehicle, and the other for Heavy Vehicle.

The role would involve you delivering training to apprentices working towards the Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle standards (depending on the role) at the education provider's main training centre in Manchester.

Maximum class size is 12 people, and you would also get 1 day per week working from home for lesson preparation/marking.

The starting salary for this position is circa £38,000 p/a, which would also include a 6% pension contribution, optional private health care, and 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

Requirements

• An Motor Vehicle qualification
• Experience of EITHER Heavy Vehicle OR Light Vehicle Maintenance
