ERS, the UK's largest specialist motor insurer, is seeking a Claims Technician to join a fast-paced, evolving team. You will record new claims, respond to inquiries, handle correspondence, and contribute to a first-class claims service.

Responsibilities include establishing loss circumstances, negotiating settlements efficiently, maintaining accurate estimates, applying company policies, and using approved suppliers while aiming to meet FCA/PRA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and correspondence in a professional, courteous manner.
• Establish the circumstances of loss and conduct indemnity/fraud enquiries.
• Negotiate settlements efficiently and economically.
• Maintain accurate estimates of claims and adjust as needed.
• Ensure use of approved suppliers where appropriate.
• Apply company policies and procedures to meet service standards and FCA/PRA requirements.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by line management.
