ERS is the UK’s largest specialist motor insurer, providing tailored claims support to motor brokers. The Claims Technician role focuses on recording new claims, handling inquiries, and processing correspondence while upholding high service standards and efficient settlements.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, resolving claims to policy terms and maintaining accurate records in line with FCA/PRA requirements. A proactive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Formación

• Experience in customer service or claims handling preferred.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work to targets and FCA/PRA requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to customer calls and correspondence professionally.
• Establish circumstances of loss and perform indemnity/enquiry checks.
• Negotiate settlements efficiently and economically.
• Maintain accurate claim estimates and adjust as needed.
• Ensure use of approved suppliers where appropriate.
• Apply company policies and procedures to meet service standards.
• Carry out additional tasks as required by management.
