Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a dynamic leader to head a motor claims recovery team in the UK. You will drive performance, coach claims handlers, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure adherence to SLAs, and mentor staff to grow professionally within a fast-paced, supportive culture. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor claims handling within insurance or claims management.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Direct client interaction and hosting client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of claims handlers to meet client service levels and KPIs.
• Act as the key liaison between claims handlers and management to ensure alignment.
• Oversee documentation of recovery procedures and client service reviews.
• Monitor performance, provide training, and address issues promptly.
• Manage high-profile or contentious cases with quality and client outcomes in mind.
• Support financial targets by managing the claim lifecycle.
