Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Recovery Operations Manager in the UK to lead a team delivering property recovery outcomes. You will manage the performance of the recovery function, balance complex caseloads, and drive continuous improvement across processes and client outcomes.

You will work closely with senior leadership, clients, insurers, and legal partners to maintain high service standards while developing the team’s capabilities and ensuring effective governance of recovery matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in property recovery, subrogated recoveries, or related fields.
• Proven people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of the recovery process and claims lifecycle.
• Experience handling complex, high-value, or litigated matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing recovery team.
• Manage operational performance against service levels and KPIs.
• Own a caseload of complex, high-value recovery claims.
• Provide technical guidance on complex recovery matters.
• Oversee litigated and non-litigated property recovery claims.
• Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, solicitors, and stakeholders.
