Qualifications

• Vast experience handling motor claims within a legal, insurance or claims management environment.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong technical claims knowledge across pre- and post-litigated claims.
• Excellent communication, coaching and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Claims Handlers to achieve objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients.
• Ensure service levels and KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Support strategic objectives through effective management of people, processes and resources.
• Act as a technical referral point for complex, high-value or sensitive claims.
• Manage performance, coaching, recruitment and development plans.
• Prepare client reports and participate in service reviews, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence and compliance across the team.
• Support complaint resolution and escalation handling.
