Maplecroft in Norwich is seeking a Motor Claims Handler to own the final stage of credit hire claim processing. You will review charges, challenge what is being charged and negotiate a fair settlement that minimises the financial impact for our customers.

You will examine hire, storage and recovery charges in detail, test whether periods and rates claimed are reasonable, and decide whether storage was applicable at all. Training is provided, and transferable skills to learn are welcomed.

• Prior claims handling experience is preferable, but full training is provided.
• Transferable skills and a real appetite to learn.

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will own the final stage of the credit hire claim process. Once the hire period has ended, you will investigate the claim, challenge what is being charged, and negotiate a fair settlement that minimises the financial impact for our customers.

You will review hire, storage and recovery charges in detail, test whether the periods and rates claimed are reasonable, and decide whether storage was applicable at all.
