Motor - Claims Handler role at Davies.

Department: Claims Management

Location: Leeds

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service?

We are looking for Motor Claims Handlers to join us during an exciting period of growth. In this fast-paced role, you will investigate liability, determine claim progression, and support the recovery of charges. You’ll work across the claims lifecycle, liaising with car body repairers, insurers, and brokers while keeping customers updated via phone and email.

What will you be doing?

• Manage end-to-end motor claims from initial report to completion.
• Work closely with work providers, clients, and repairers to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
• Update and maintain a case management system with detailed progress reports.
• Liaise with insurers and engineers to address liability queries and recover costs.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Adhere to strict service level agreements and timelines.

Knowledge and Abilities

Motor – Claims Handler CH3: An experienced claims handler with significate experience dealing with customer claims, credit hire, third party property damage, recoveries and personal injury via the OIC and MOJ portal. Will have an excellent knowledge of motor related caselaw.

Motor – Claims Handler CH4: An experienced claims handler with significate experience dealing with customer claims, high value and complex credit hire, third party property damage, recoveries and personal injury via the OIC and MOJ portal, along with high value complex injury up to £100k. Will have an excellent knowledge of motor related caselaw including Scottish and Northern Irish.
