Job summary

Aviva Leeds is seeking a motivated RTA Motability Claims Handler to join our Legal team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will manage personal injury claims from first notification through to settlement, assessing evidence and driving fair outcomes for customers.

With a law degree and an interest in litigation, you’ll build strong relationships, communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders, and develop knowledge across RTA and MOJ processes while supporting a busy claims workload.

Qualifications

• A law degree is required to assess and manage personal injury claims.
• Understanding of OIC portal and MOJ processes is desirable.
• Knowledge of RTA and PI claims helps handling diverse caseloads.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Job Title – RTA Motability Claims Handler

Salary: circa £28,000

12 month FTC

This is a great job for someone who has a law degree and or some experience as a claims handler within a legal role. If you're looking for your first role within a legal team managing diverse case load of personal injury claims from start to finish this role could be for you.

A bit about the job:

You'll join our Motability RTA team, helping customers achieve fair outcomes following road traffic accidents. You'll manage a varied caseload, assess claims, review evidence and resolve disputes. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll handle personal injury claims from first notification through to settlement. Your work will help us deliver excellent customer service while making sure claims are managed accurately and efficiently. You'll play an important role in supporting customers when they need us most.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• A law degree.
• Some understanding of the OIC portal, MOJ process.
• Some understanding of RTA (road traffic accident) and PI (personal injury claims)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Keen and enthusiastic to develop knowledge within legal litigation claims across personal injury and road traffic accident.
